THE SMALL VEHICLE INSPECTION SYSTEM (SVXi) has been developed by 3DX-Ray Limited under a contract with the United Kingdom Government (Home Office Scientific Development Branch)
It is supplied either as a static installation or as a fully mobile x-ray system. It produces a detailed x-ray image of an entire vehicle up to the size of a transit van. It takes just a few seconds and produces ultra-high sub mm resolution! Yet it can simply be driven to a site, used and moved on.
It is ideal for detecting terrorist threats such as bombs, guns and knives. It even offers a dual energy option for differentiating between materials such as the chemically organic substances used in Plastic Explosives and the metals used in guns, knives and other weapons.
